I like this image because of the monochromatic feel of the white and gray tones. I also like the position of the hammer which gives a crashing feeling where you can almost hear the glass shattering. The lighting that is cascading over the image almost seems like it is shining through a window and not so much a lit room. The theme of the overall idea of lightbulb breaking symbolizes maybe an idea crashing or a dream being broken. Something I don't enjoy about the image is the red grip on the hammer which can be a little distracting once noticed. Overall I think this was a very strong image.
